Sometimes it's got what you want, other times not so much. We did get a few bits for the granddaughter tho. Price is average as is the quality. Would it break their bank to have a toilet? It's a lot easier to contemplate a purchase if your middle aged bladder ain't screaming at you. Too many cups of tea I guess. It's also gone very self service since corona virus. More profit for the shareholders I guess.

Always shop here and never had issues except today. My DISABLED mum (god bless her heart) was dying for the toilet. She has medical issues to do with incontinence. NATALIE the store manager was not helpful at all. Tbh found her extremely rude. She did not give me a chance to explain, just spoke over me and she “Company policy, even if your pregnant”. They used to let her go all the time. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I will be taking it to head office.

So reading the reviews after my visit this morning and I wasn't surprised. Not enough plus sizes (sorry). Prices were good and the selection but not in my size. Will go back after a couple of weeks.

Shopping was fine, however due to the new till section I was really put off, if u want to be served u can only pay by cash. I thought it was stressful especially as u have to go through every item to make sure there is no security tags. The queue was backing up. Will shop on line in future, can't be doing with the stress

Fantastic customer service today from Lizzie in Northampton. A credit to your company. Very helpful and knowledgeable and we were happy with our 3 piece suit and shoe purchase.

Shopping was good. Spoilt by the assistant who told us we had to pay at the self service till because we were using card. Four assistants were standing around doing nothing! She was just standing watching people, how boring is that.

Hate you have to take off the hangers on everything and scan all the items yourself. Plus you have to take all the security tags off yourself too. No customer service whatsoever. £88 for 3 pairs of winter pj's and 3 pairs of slippers! 😮 …

I always enjoy Matalan Northampton, the staff are young, keen friendly and very helpful. I went into the Matalan store on Sunday 2nd of January 2022, my wife was rushed into Northampton General Hospital on 23rd December 2021, with a broken hip. She needed PJ'S, I was given a brief description of what she required. Now, I am a 73 year old male, totally lost in a female PJ scenario. The young lady on Customer Services was a young lady old enough to be my Grand daughter, but she went out of her way to assist me. I was guided to the relevant area and was advised where to look, as she was the only person on Customer Sevices she clearly could not leave the desk I went straight to the ladies PJ area, now I was totally out of my depth, after 10 minutes of meandering around aimlessly, suddenly the young lady came to see how I was doing. She was so much a breath of fresh air, I showed her my Wife's text on her requirement and size, with a few minutes she contacted her colleague on the department, within a few minutes they helped me fulfil my Wifes request. So a big 10 out 10 to both of them. Many thanks to those two staff members. Thank you both very much. Happy and successful 2022 to you both along with Matalan.
